Hello,
I hope you all can help, I have a Austroflamm Integra pellet stove, this is the second
season of using it. the blower motor has a mind of its own and fluctuates up and down, and
sometimes runs flawlessly. I was emailing someone about it I found on eBay. He says my
air sensor is bad, but told me to pull it out and look at it, if its covered in soot clean it and
check for a dark spot on the board. he also recommended resealing the glass and door. I
brushed off all the soot, and yes there is a dark spot on it. put back in and worked flawlessly
for about 3 weeks...started acting up again, yesterday I resealed the door, pulled the switch
again and this time sprayed it with a good circuit board cleaner. cleaned the entire stove,
blower motor, convection tubes, 8 holes behind the tubes, tube behind the convection tubes
Etc. put back together, started up......blower fan will not pick up right away goes up and
down, and now it has a tall lazy flame and smokes real bad....I noticed the door did not have
the rope gasket at the bottom of the center glass.....I put one there??...Is this still my air
sensor giving me grief??....it did not smoke before I changed the door and glass
seals...however I could tell from the pattern on glass after stove ran for a day that it was leaking before I changed the ropes.
Thanks for your help

When you say "blower motor" are you talking about the combustion motor which should start right upon turning your unit on or do you mean the convection blower that starts up after about 10-12 minutes after start up once your Integra comes up to temperature.
When you cleaned your unit did you also clean the flue?? A blocked flue will cause a lazy flame and soot as you have improper air flow.

Ya the combustion motor, and no that's the only thing I didn't clean and I thought about it and said to my self....self you just did that in November 2012, (we had a good warm fall so I got a late start on going full bore with the stove...lol) and I did it in Oct. of 2011 and did not do it till this Nov. and it was dirty but not blocked, but that don't mean anything, it could be, I buy Pellets from a local lumber mill that makes them them selves, they seem to be a high ash pellet. but only cost me $175.00 a ton...;)...and I notice that they differ from ton to ton....Lol

Red-E-Fuel pellets

The funny thing is it did not do this till after I resealed the door and glass?
Did you put gasket material at the top of glass?? If you did that may be your problem...and it should be flat 1/4 inch not rope gasket.

I did, and yes it is 1/4 in flat with a sticky backing you pull off the paper to stick it. now you say that it might have been the top that did not have gasket on it, I kept getting called in the middle of doing this job and was getting a bit distracted, My Wife just had a Hysterectomy...Lol

Great news, I replaced the air sensor and fixed the door glass seals, problem solved. no more smoke, no more lazy flame, no more up and down with the speed of the combustion & Convection motors..... getting total burn in the pot, still seems to feed to many pellets tho, I think it could do just as good if the auger feed was shorter.....all good come spring I will send both boards to the guy in California to have them checked out.

Well my Austroflamm has went down again, now my red light flashes and the auger turns real slow..or pulsates so to speak. can anyone help with that? is it looking like my eprom or board?
Thanks in advance....

Here's what I found with my Ausroflamm. When cleaning remove the lower and upper panels in the fire box. Vacuum the ceiling of said firebox along with all areas that require cleaning. After I did this, no more lazy flame. Ash will build up in this area and restrict the combustion blower air flow.

I think you auger may be jammed or the motor is crapping out.
cleaned it first off and I had a spare motor and put it on. didnt change the problem

I do that 2 time a week, normal cleaning procedure.

The only thing I don't see mentioned here is your vent system. Can you describe, and has the system been thouroughly cleanened recently?

Also, my air sensor is in the air intake tube, so I don't know how this could be covered with soot::P

If you are sure your auger motor is not the issue you then need to check your high limit switch
1) Disconnect your stove from outlet
2) Disconnect wires from high limit switch located on combustion fan and join them together.
3) plug stove back in, turn on switch on control panel
4) Both combustion AND convection fans will start. pellets should feed

Some high limit switches can be reset by pressing on the center of switch.

The high limit switch is located on the convection blower not the combustion blower. the pof/low limit switch is on the combustion blower

Oops! all those motors that begin with a "C" confuse me sometimes..... but yes you are correct!

Once you get your stove going again, you might want to adjust your trim pots on the main board. Mine are currently adjusted with the auger feed trimmed all the way down and my air trim turned all the way up. I could still use a little more air, especially at low fire.
