He'll trade for a Mercury Marquis.... Low expectation CL seller. Looks like a few pellet bags melted on the top at some point.... Extra charge for that I'm sure.

Real Leonardo DaVinci with the aluminum foil ducting work....

Trollong CL really nets some doozies............. (wonder if he's a poster on here?????;lol;lol)

I wonder if he'd throw in the candle holder. I KNOW he's a poster here from his excellent command of the English language! OMG! I wonder who he voted for........ WOW.

When I first posted this, I was too overwhelmed to say anything about it. As much as the foil-covered pipe confuses me (is there vent pipe under there? papier mache?) what really grabbed me was the improvised "thimble" through a window pane that had been knocked out and replaced with ...something flat. I still can't absorb it all.

it seriously looks like hes venting his stove using flexible dryer duct wrapped in foil or duct tape, taped to a cardboard or wooden panel and run through a missing window pane.
on one hand, installs like that crack me up at the sheer stupidity of it all, ya know darwin award type of thing,
on the other hand this kind of stuff makes me mad because things get banned because of boneheads like this. There are way more people like this than you'd care to imagine. In the end everything will be banned in the US except for cotton swabs and pillows and you may need a license to own those at that!

Yup. For the seller's sake, I hope someone buys that stove soon.

The really sad part is that the owner probably doesn't see anything wrong with his installation.

Of course not! It's better because it's custom. You should know that already. Wonder if the rocket scientist with the high speed rocket exhaust pipe figured out setting candles on a hot area like the top of a stove isn't a good idea also. Maybe that's why the paint looks a little worn up there. Scraping wax off of the stove top looks as if it has played a little hell on the finish.

Well...no. Look at what he wants to trade for... A Mercury Marquis. That has about as much class as an empty box of kleenex.

Takes all kinds to make the world go around.....

Ya got yto hand it to him (or her), they are safety aware... It is on a non-combustable hearth pad afterall.
