Finally started burning these Golden pellets from Energex Early buy past spring.
Heat is Awsome!!.. usually I can keep my hand a few inches away from the grill
but with these I was at least 8 " away and had to pull my hand back..No Exageration..low-medium blower speed..
am I the only nut that actually measures the distance with a tape?_g
Those very high Ramped up flames did make me a bit nervous though..supposed to be over 9,000 BTU.
they do claim 0.5 ash although it looks a bit more than that.Blazers have less..
Energex only sells to Stove dealers and not every dealer can get them.
Manufactured 1 time per year like certain seasonal beers do..Kiln dried sawdust whatever that means..
If they ever come your way, don't even hesitate...
I bought 2 tons this spring and will deff get 5 tons next early buy.

I burn the Energex Premum Wood pellets in a harman p68 and find that they funnel a lot and leave unfed pellets in the hopper....dealer recommended but if they won't fall into the feed box for the auger having a 76lb capacity is a joke as it doesn't empty the hopper .

I'm going back to the dealer and see what else he sells for a comparison

that's a quirk that happens to many here regardless of pellets...not all sliding down...
some give the sides of the hopper a waxing of sorts,, graphite, things like that..
do a search here..
it's not unique to Energex or any other brand..

one dealer said I might have moisture in the pellets...as they might have stored outside..I'm going back to my dealer and try a couple of bags of the other brand he sells.....prove to him that I'm not crazy

It seems just about every brand I've put through my Harman Accentra has not fully fed down to auger.. I even started a thread about it due to my aggravations.. But learned to basically time how long a full hopper should last and always have a full pour bucket ready to go.. Hasn't burnt out on me since

pretty much any pellets I have burned do the same thing.
I never let it get that low so the cheap fix is to dump the next bag in.
I would imagine that this would be a problem for someone who is gone from home all day and comes home to the fire being out because pellets hung on
to the sides... but the're are fixes for that problem here as I said like waxing, graphite etc...

I have had one for 2 years, and they work very well, as long a you use the same distance from your
