Newbie to pellet burning and this forum, but like everyone,I have an opinion concerning word pellets. I live in NW Ohio(Go Bucks!) and have used only a few brands this far. Used some O'Malley's from TSC and they were much better than the stuff I got at Lowe's. Am now using ProPellets out of Mich. and am on the fence. They burn well, but I feel the flame is more yellow than white(cooler?) than the O'Malley's, they do not feed as well either (noisy feed, see my other post) but the bags are almost totally free of fines, dust, whatever that's called. A lot of ash buildup in firebox but firepot stays pretty clear. These are supposed to be king of the hill in my area and I am very new to this so not a lot to compare to. I have heard that Somerset is the best of the best, but have no clue where to get these.

I like Pro Pellets -- wish I could have bought some this year. Instead, the local TSC stocked Ozark Hardwoods, which are a big step down in heat output.

Picked up a couple of bags while driving from SC back to NH. Threw them in last week and they burned fine, good heat and minimal ash.
