All,
I have a Harman XXV that I purchased back in October. The stove, once it reaches temperature begins to have an extremely loud rattle coming from the right side. If you kick the side panel the rattle will stop, but it will resume shortly afterward. Here is a video of the racket it makes.

XXV Rattling:

Does anyone else experience this? It is really pissing me off as I bought this stove because my EP25 was loud as hell. This stove isn't much better with this rattle.
 
I don't have the same stove, but if I had to guess, based on the fact that it stops for a while if you kick a panel, that one of your panels (or heat shields, I don't know what you have) is loose. And loose doesn't mean that it is noticeable, it just means the screw isn't snugged.

I know on my P61A, if I don't snug the screws up when I clean out the fines box, that the shield will rattle. Even on my St. Croix, which has cast iron sides, if I don't snug up those screws, the sides will rattle.
 
Its a baby and wants attention:) Loose sheet metal panels as bogieb is hopefully its issue. I have chased the rattles on many stoves. Sometimes adding fiber washers to further squelch the noises.

Had same problem..
lower panel screws needed to be snugged a little more... drove me baffy for a while because it would only go away
when I opened the hopper lid and That didn't make any sense...!!!
 
my hopper lid used to rattle also, actually it was a squeak, found out it was the latch on the hopper lid. took a little emery cloth to the area where the spring loaded stop runs against the curved lid holder, no more squeak. this is on a 52 i.... I believe the exhaust going up 18 feet of stainless steel flex pipe causes a rumbling which gets transmitted back to the stove. doesn't seem to be a big issue. I'm sure you'll track down the culprit and fix it. :)
 
Does anyone know where the screw locations are? It may be the right side panel that is loose. Is my understanding that there are three screw's that hold it in place. I can only find 2.

I wedged a stick between the brick hearth and the underside of the stove right below the fan. It worked for me and my xxv is 8 years old.

On the light side of your malady, the screw your looking for probably rattled out:) If I hadn't dropped a screw last fall I would not found the true source of my Harman problem of a shorting room temp probe.

Your manual shows just two screws.
