Well my talley for the month is in,102 bags,Thats running 3 stoves.I hope February isn't anything like that.

Wow. I just got my stove Jan. 4 and have used 30 bags so far here in Kentucky. Some days the temps are 40s and 50s during the day and the very next day the temps are single digits. The warmer days I let the heat pumps take over.

I started logging daily usage mainly to see what pellets worked better than others, etc... I am at an average of 2.65 tons per month with my Tarm unit....running a 70/30 mix of pellets/corn. It's way too expensive IMO. I either need to start making my own pellets or running the propane forced air furnaces to supplement on the cold days.
When it's 25 degrees and up, the system works great. Colder than that, and it chews through fuel like nobodies business....

I'm averaged 108 pounds a day for January or 84 bags. I don't think that's bad for what I'm heating.

F4 yes I have been recording average temperatures for each day as well.... So correct my general average use needs to include temperature as well.. I have it in a spreadsheet - I suppose I could work up a graph....It's been a while since I've done one but I'll figure it out again

I had a local very small pellet maker doing some, and I am now running Lignetics... The local guy had finally got his formula to put out some heat, but his pellets have more ash than a store bought brand. Both seem to be working the same mixed with corn as far as heat output / consumption. IMO this boiler runs a lot better with a pellet/corn mix than with either straight pellets or straight corn

I primarily use Lignetics. Like them pretty well especially for the price. I've experimented with several types but haven't seen enough difference to make me go hunting since I can get Lignetics reliably. I just got four bags of Somersets to try but the only place I can get them wants eight bucks a bag! Unless they melt my stove, cook my meals and are prettier than my wife there's no way!

Will finish fourteenth bag tonight. January has been unseasonably warm this year, with the mean temperature nearly 6 degrees above the normal 17.1 degrees. Have also had lots of sun.

I just dumped the 42nd bag of the month in the hopper. I think that's a record. It's been a cold month here in CT.

71 bags in two stoves for January, three over forecast but first month of season I've gone over. February starting out very cold.
I don't think we have been above 32 in the past 3or 4 weeks it seems.Local news says it's been the 5th coldest January on record,and it shows with pellet consumption.With propane running at $2.09 a gal,I'll probly run out my stock and turn on the furnace for the remainder of season.

Thats insane...... 2.65 tons in a month in PA??? WTF? Most people up here, burn a ton or less per month, and its about 15*-18*F higher average temperatures here than PA...... Do you have windows and a roof in your home at all?

Bag 52 in the hopper tonight. Its been pretty darn cold around here and the wife likes it warm in the house. Did get a oil delivery 52 gallons for 2 months that's making hot water and heating the basement to 50 degrees
