Harmon p38 quit last night it's 12 degree outside, help!

Did you check the voltage inside the stove incoming from the cord? I had two appliances in last couple years all that was a bad was a cord and one had a bad connection inside. High end idiot box with a bad cord.:( That was easy as it used a standard computer cord. Another nick in Harman is that the cords are not easily removed.
 
just throwing in my two cents, circuit boards don't like excessive dust, have you check that? If so try blowing it off.
that could be the reason that milliamps are making it to the GFI.;?

Shouldn't the fuse blow first I did change it anyhow but still the same.When it is plugged into it's normal outlet it does nothing ,and it does not trip the breaker in the breaker panel.Help it is 12 degrees outside and I sure can't afford the propane I am using.

UPDATE. My son and I did some more exploring because if it was tripping the GFI but the fuse was not blown we figure the problem was after the board.We unhooked power to all the motors plugged in to the GFI and it did not trip.Plugged the motors back in 1 at a time.The combustion blower had fried and created a dead short.New motor back up and running.Thanks everyone for your advise.

I ain't no jerk, I'm an old man (probably old enough to be your dad) who just calls it like I see it. If it was me, I'd call Harman and order up a new board asap. After I got it back online, I'd pursue getting the old one reworked but I'd have the stove running befoirehand. Problem with a cooked board is, if the ECM is cooked, about your only avenue is a new board as most are proprietary (ECM) and Harman isn't about to sell you one component. You can got to a source like DigiKey and get most all the components except the ECM and with a rudementary electronics knowledge you can fix the board yourself, it's not hard. Third option is build a Snowy River contrrol box from existing off the shelf components and go with that.

Myself, I keep spare components on the shelf just in case and that includes a spare board, I'm a good boy scout, my motto is 'be prepared'. A 10 minute changeout sure beats a cold azzed stove in my view.

If your space heater going down causes burst pipes, yo'd better rethink your parameters. I've been heating with pellets and corn for over 30 years and the whole time, my REAL heat source is just a click of the t'stat away. My Bryant plus 90 is always ready and willing.
 
O/P - did you have to replace the board or just the bad motor?

I was giving you some grief right back. LOL! Like I said I got some amusement out of the cold azz stove wake up call. Funny stuff and everyone winds up there some how and some day. It's happened to me because I fell asleep and forgot to load the damn thing. Duh! Dealing with pellet stoves a back up heat source is a must have IMO. Sidecar, you are definitely old enough to be my dad. Maybe gramps so I will remind you I haven't gotten my X-Mas present yet. What's up? Waiting patiently......... Cash and a card will do just fine or some pellets. Thanks!
