Glad you brought this up "golfeur",,I also noticed that my Cubex this year creates a lot more hashes than previous year.
They seems to also burn and produce clinker in the burn pot which was not the case in the previous years along
with more black stuff in the fire compartment....Voila..

It seems to me that the pellets are dark areas this year
The ash is black but I did not much clinkers
