Bought a LawnMaster from Wal-Mart. Just has the electrical connection that you plug extension cord onto. Went to finish off the last cleaning and ... nothing. Didn't work for any of the cords I tried so back it goes:mad:

Total let down. Haha. good luck with the new one.

My Weedeater cheapo is like that too. No cord, use your own. I had to wiggle my plug a bit to make contact......

Ok, so gave the Whit a good cleaning and then did the leaf blower trick for the first time. Stove is running like a champ. One of my neighbors officially thinks I'm nuts after watching me climb onto my snow covered roof in 15 degrees temps. Haha

Did you leave the door open or closed on your stove while running the leaf blower?

I left it cracked open. I was cautious my first time. Also, the tube on the suction end of my blower was the exact size of the outlet on the chimney cap so I stayed up on the roof with a rag around the connection point to keep the right seal. My original plan was to open and close the stove door. Once I make a flange that will hold on it's own, I'll do it that way. I did open the damper all the way and pulled the vacuum tube.
