My remedy would be to get a new stove. Sounds like yours is way too big.

Then I would definitely figure something out. I'm sure there is a way to regulate the stove. Seems like quite a waste unless you have money to burn.

If stove has an on/off button then you can put a thermostat on it.

I have a partial ton of Doug Firs left. My next load arrives a week after next. I will be up in the Middletown area Thursday the 19th, not in time for this cold snap however. But I would be willing to bring some up if you wish to try them.

I've been burning Okanagan Gold all winter and they have been ok. With the cold here I switch to the ton of Douglas Firs just to see what they are about.

Hands down the hottest, ash free pellet I have used. I have also be consuming 1/2 the pellets as the Golds.

We're they worth $50/ ton...I clean my stove weekly so no, but they are impressive!

5.16 bag/ Douglas Firs at Home Depot.. 1 Tractor Trailer load.. Blazers.
. may be 1st & last time they ever show up again there.
