Your all so helpfull on here. By the way the last person who helped and said that the stove was huffing and said how to fix was correct. That said I have a new problem. My husband had to turn off the stove today because a smell. I is a nasty burnt rubber tire smell. I have turned it back on. Looked for obvious plastic or rubber parts that could melt and I got nothing. All augers rolling. Seems the fans are running also. No doors open and no smoke coming from the pipe. Anyone with a summer heat 55 shp 10 stove have any ideas as to what that could be.

That's usually the smell of overheating and failing electronics or electrical. As in motor windings, control boards and wires. If your stove still mostly runs it might have been one of your motors working too hard against a bad bearing or fouling (dust, ash).

Well came home today to a smell of old smoke. My husband said it just stopped. Thinks its done now. I looked and it E-1 error. Now after i pull plug and replug, i get it turns on for a minute, then the numbers flicker and all shuts off. Now it wont go on. Would this be control panel or something else. Now the englander is closed so in a cold jam. Mike where are you????

Start a new thread with your stove info in the title and hope Mike sees it.

My Stove into is in my signature. Thanks to I believe Jeremy from englander for solving my issure today. It was the high temp vacumm tubing . It blew out. However, went to tractor store to get new and its seasonal.

Should be available from auto parts store. Or if in a bind and there is still some viable hose left on the vac switch, pull it off it and put on the stove side and if more than four inches should be able to use a less than high temp hose and a barb connector till it all gets replaced without issues as only the stove side gets hot.
