Check with nfpa 211, local codes, insurance, etc. Might not be allowable by code. Depends on your "garage" I believe.

Hard to beat the simple design of a Whit. Unless your garage is a man cave, its a bit over classed

Can always clean it up and sell next fall if the demand for pellets stoves goes up and get a stove with more btus, a bigger hopper and more industrial look
