I'm happy with the looks and performance of my Declaration. More important, perhaps, is that my wife also likes how it looks :)

Another happy owner of the Xp33 elite. Once again my wife and I liked the arch look over the square face plate. The stoves are a little on the high priced side, but it seems to be a high quality stove.

Also if you tire of your current faceplate you have some options to change the look. The bypass damper to me is another great feature.

3k. Not including install and full SS insualted liner. Add another 1k+ to that number.

Not cheap, but at oil around here over $3/gallon and the addtional benfits sealed the deal for me.

One heal of a stove and good looking to boot.Watch out summit owners we are
on the rise. :coolsmirk:

thanks for your replies roughly what was the cost of the stoves

About $4000 with everything (stove, liner, installation).

I have had mine for about a month now and I am still learning how to use it. I like the double door design until it comes to cleaning the glass (2 smaller ones to clean instead of 1 large one). I also like the bypass, but am not crazy about how the door handles look. I wish the blowers were quieter - yet still cranked out the volume. If I ever move, I am taking this baby with me - and I will not buy a house where it will not fit!

Mine ran me:

Firebox 2200
Faceplate 150 (Wilmington All Black)
Surround 150

But the manufacturer is just 30 miles up the road from me, but I did buy retail.

When I bought this I considered the following flush inserts:

Jøtul C 350 Winterport <-- was too small
Jøtul C 550 Rockland <-- not EPA certified for WA state (or so I was told)
