The leaf blower trick. Lots of pellet stove burners do it to pull the fly ash out of the flue while sucking it out of the pellet stove at the same time.
 
All I have to say is...Crazy Russians. Although makes me tempted to try it on mine.
 
Beats the old Russian trick of dropping a hen down the pipe.:)

Two things! First he should probably have a gas mask on and second I feel sorry for his downstream neighbors!
