I guess the heat from a match stick is better than no heat.

First time I've seen Spanish wording on a bag of pellets...

Pellet production and distribution, like Big Oil, has clearly become a global commodity...... I don't see that being a positive for the American consumer regarding the future of pellet supply and demand market forces.

Thats a fair statement. My saving grace is I have corn available and a multi-fuel stove as well as coal if need be. So long as pellets as a commercial fuel source to fuel Europe's power plants remains the vogue, domestic pellet production for domestic use will be secondary

.......and to think that 30 years ago, all the waste material that is now pelletized was landfilled or just cast off, it's mind boggling.

It's all added value for wood producers and manufacturers in the lumber industry. Taking a deficit product and turning it around to a money maker is amazing.

Wow ! I'll be doing the same this week !

We have English and French on our bags because we're not far from Canada. To sell there, that's what we had to do.
Hell, ScotL, gotta do that to sell in the top part of THIS state ...........

Or even all the Quebecois in the 'dirty Lew', hoss !!

I don't have a problem with regional marketing efforts like ScotL mentioned.

But when all pellet bags eventually are printed with multiple languages on them because a large % of locally produced product is being off - sourced to other countries, inevitably driving up the local supply / demand cost increases we have progressively seen over the past few years, that's when I have a problem.

Where I live they'd have to sell those as Cheat Riva Hahdwood Pellit Fuel

"Pick up a pizzar and pellits on the way back in the ca from Hahvad Yahd."

All of it? I don't think so. I visited the Pacific Lumber Company (redwood sawmill) in Scotia, CA, in the early 80's. They used all their sawdust for burning to create steam, and used it throughout the mill. I can't believe they were the only mill doing so back then.

What about...... Maybe they outsourced their packaging bags from Mexico???

I burned a many bags of cheat rivers in the past and they or ok, but I sure would not drive 100 miles for them unless pellets were my only source of heat and that's all I could find.
