Waiting on inspection I have home daycare cant use till it has passed We have wood stove burning now

Day care???? Where is the cage to keep the sticky finger prints off the glass??

Really what are you going to put around that stove to pass the state child care health inspection.

around the wood stove we have a super yard which is like a giant play pen. This actually only needs a fire place screen. There is no radiant heat so there is no way for them to get burned I will most likely put a strap around the back so they cant pull the screen off. the glass is inside the doors have no glass they are just metal

Always fascinates me. Dogs stay away from hot stoves. Cats stay away from hot stoves. Every kid I have ever known was smarter that a dog or a cat.

brother bart my dog lays right up against my wood stove she loooooves it!!!

We have the Thelin Echo, recently installed, and our cat Hazel sleeps right on top. And if it's not going she'll find someplace else to sleep. I wound up making up an LOLcat with her on it.

[size=3[[color=blue]]Nice looking stove hope to see it fired up soon
Still not cold enough here to run very long, using to take chill off house in the morning works really well first year install.

Teapots, you might want to re-think that statement. The glass WILL get hot, and the area where the hot air comes out of the stove gets hot also. If little, sensitive fingers touch those area, there IS a possibility of a burn.

If I were you, I'd be making sure that didn't happen.....no sense opening yourself up for a lawsuit.

Just my 2 cents

I hafta agree with macman. If you have little ones in your home each
day I would suggest putting a gate around it to keep their itchy fingers away.
Why take the chance, especially if they are not your own kiddos.

Congrats .... Looks Super, Great looking stove and looks real nice with the black pad.
