I thought the guys from UMD might exhibit there to get some interest but I don't see MF Fire on the list.
MF Fire didn't go. They are still developing the stove and some new ideas and have lots of grant applications in the hopper.

Glad to hear they got that enamel issue fixed.

So nothing else really good? Did you stop by the Skamol booth?
I did. They are interested in the combustion packages I made for my VC's out of their product.

Was there any new stove automation companies showing this year?
I didn't spend much time looking through small booths. We have a pretty tight schedule with reps, meetings, and all the booths of manufacturers that we carry.

Very good news. They should be popular colors. I love the blue-black finish on the Jotuls.

The blue black is a painted finish, not an enamel finish...FYI

OK, thanks for that info Chris. Was the one I saw last year at HPBA with the rejected blue-black color an enameled finish without the majolica glaze or painted?

The Blue Black from Jotul is also painted, it's an enamel paint that's baked from what I understand. It's way more durable than porcelain enamel!

It was a crappy, lousy, horrible enamel finish...by the way it looked like crap!

Our blue black is NOT baked on.

Thanks for the clarification, I'll have to find one in shop to check it out.
