I have 1 gleason avery 1 rpm auger motor, some gasket material, a convection blower, a combustion blower, red rtv, gorilla tape and random spare wires and spade connectors. Too lazy to take a pic today.

I would also like to have in stock some vacuum hoses and spare fuses although i still have the spare that came with the stove.

I would like to have a new control board as well but i'm not getting that unless this one bites the dust, too expensive a part to have with a chance you may never need to use it, or the rest of the stove will wear out before it does.

Two other stoves. Third if consider the neighbors stove I refurbished and sitting in the garage.

just ordered the upgraded combustion motor/impeller kit.

the current motor will be my back up to go along with the spare auger motor i already have.
By 'upgraded', I hope it doesn't have a different RPM or more blades on the impeller because a bunch of people found out on here that it screws up your air mixture and blows more heat up the flue or if it has fewer blades, then you get a lazy flame. "Upgraded" should be a red flag. Stock is good.

I agree with grumpy. Flow dynamics of a pellet burner can be easily upset by changing the specificatoins of the CA fan. Stock specs are usually better than any option.

A Jotul F3CB, Jotul F100 and Englander 30-NC all sitting cold within ten feet of the flue the 25-PDVC is connected to in the basement.

The upgraded motor is the same 3,000 RPMs but is 1.75 Amps instead of the Quadrafire Jakel or newer Huayi from China which is 0.5 amps. If you put a test cord on either of the Quad motors you can easily see how it takes much longer just to come up to speed! The 1.75 amp upgraded motor is stronger and is more consistant at the lower speeds used in the lower heat levels. These are the best exhaust blowers which is why Harman uses them in all their stoves. I personally have one in my Quadrafire it blows the ashes out of the fire pot so I rarely have to clean it!. Other people who have it in their stoves also agree it works better too. All the Harman stoves use it!

Personally I could care less if the blower I'm putting in my Quads works great in a Harman! The difference in amp draw from 0.5 to 1.75 is REALLY curious. If they are both turning at 3000 rpm, why would the one draw so much more unless it's loaded down with a much larger fan which WILL upset the flow characteristics. You should have taken stack temps before and after installing the blower with more blades. Pretty sure you'd see you''re blowing your heat right out the stack if you are now blowing ash out of the pot more vigorously. You're giving the heated air less time to transfer heat to the tubes.
I'm curious how you know the 'upgraded motor' is more consistent at lower speeds. What does that mean exactly?
