first season with stove,i used stove temp mode auto all season due to the extreme cold.now were getting big weather temperature swings.10 degrees in morning and 60 in the afternoon.wanted to set up room temp mode to save on pellets and keep consistant heat.i put stove in room temp mode,manual and put blower on high,set temp.for 72 degrees.the sensor is alongside the stove and i used a temp gun and it showed 74 degrees with the room at 72.so it's close.woke up this morning and downstairs was at 81 degrees,blower still at full blast.i read the sticky and the owners manual and it says,the stove will adjust the feed rate and blower depending on probe reading.i set feed at 4 and left blower on high.do i not fully understand how room temp works.i read the stove probe gives readings to the stove to adjust feed and blower.so shouldn't the stove have kicked down the feed rate and blower to a lower setting?i have been watching stove all day and the blower stays on high if i leave it there or stays on low if i leave it there,stove is not changing the blower speed at all no matter if it's too hot or cold in the room

What do you mean by this? The sensor should be at a place higher than the stove. If the sensor is too low where the air is cooler, the stove will adjust to meet the set point temp.
yes the probe is about 3 feet higher than the stove.the flame goes higher and lower with the temperature in the room but the blower fan does not
right now it's 77 in my room and the stove room temp is set for 73 so the room is way too warm,the flame is small and very dim,but the blower(set on high)is still going full blast,the stove is not turning down the blower fan speed and if i am reading the sticky and manual correctly the stove should kick down the blower fan also.the only way i get the blower fan to get lower is for me to turn down the room temp mode knob to low.

It sounds like a temperature differential, i.e. you have a 4 deg offset between the probe and the thermostat on the stove and where you actually are in the room. However, your stove is working as prescribed. To reduce the temperature differential, try moving the probe to another spot closer to where you are actually in the room. You can even get an extension for the probe to move it where it will be more accurate.
am i correct in saying the stove should automatically move my blower fan speed high/low depending on what it needs?if the probe is 2-4 degrees hotter than the room wouldn't it drop to lower settings sooner?when i left the room temp at 72 and blower on high last night.it was 81 when i work up and the blower fan still going full blast,but the flame was very low.

Yes.. Distrbution blower should slow down when set temp is near or met..eventually should shuting off
Not sure what is goin on, but I would start by putting your fan on a lower speed than full blast for now...
did you try shutting off/unplug/ then plug back in to reset just in case the circuitry decided to go postal on you..?
did you try running it in Room/Auto to see if it ramps down and shuts off?

The temp probe is mounted behind the stove about 5 feet up to the rear right side of the stove. The room temperature remains pretty consistent at 69-71 deg as measured on the thermostat thermometer for the oil furnace which is across the room. The blower fan does operate up and down depending on the fire and call for heat.
Warm enough now that the XXV is shutdown and using oil instead.

I run Room Temp manual all the time. My distribution motor will turn off once it comes to temp and come back on when it calls for heat. Maybe your ESP needs to be cleaned? Maybe run in auto during the day?

I do not know if I'm wrong but I think we need to put the fan at low speed and if the need to increase the temperature of the room the fan going to increase its speed and temperature approach the fan going down

OP- please read the sticky on how your Harman works. It is a wealth of information and should be required reading for every Harman owner/operator.

If you are getting 60 deg days or anything over about 35 you don't want the stove in Manual. Manual puts it in a maintenance burn when there is no call for heat, it will make heat in those temps even though it's a low burn. Try it in Auto ( igniter on). Well unless you don't mind the creeping up over your set temp that is, or you are baking potatoes like we did a couple of days ago. Most of us Harman folk run in Room Temp Auto in shoulder seasons.
