I saw this generator on one of the deal sites for $319 and it seems like a good deal it's priced on Amazon for $639. I do not know anything about it but I know people on here are looking for a clean sine wave generator.
Like I said I do not know anything about it I am just passing this on to anyone interested.
It also has free shipping

I'm not sure "clean sine wave" means pure sine wave.

I think they are different. Pure is an an more like an analog sine wave while clean is may be digital and/or analog. Pure wave would look just like a sine wave while clean would be periodic that may resemble a sine wave.

I am always hesitant to buy a product with a badged brand name when I am fairly confident the company just slaps their name on somebody elses product. Sort of like the Emerson name found on lots of different products, produced by many different manufacturers. In my opinion, you are probably paying a little more for the Duracell name. The gen set was probably made in China by a manufacturer who makes lots of different brand names for companies that want to apply their logo.

I doubt it's pure sine wave at that price. If you are going to buy a cheap generator, you might be better off with a Harbor Freight unit bought with a discount coupon if possible. They seem to run pretty well, though a little loud compared to Honda or Yamaha. And if it craps out, you won't be out a lot of money.

Just saw NewEgg has today's daily discounts, and one item is a 1500VA Pure Sine Cyberpower UPS, CP1500PFCLCD. Retails $230, usually $194, on sale for $166, starting at 4ET.

I have the smaller 1000VA model, and it's been fantastic. It's definitely Pure Sine, and the LCD gives you lots of great info, like how long your stove can run on the current power draw. Like having a built-in Kill-a-Watt.

It's got a higher joule rating of 1000+ joules for its surge protector, which is more than my old UPSes, and it has AVR, auto voltage regulator, which will bump up or reduce your voltage without having to switch to battery power. My unit shows 33 times since the Fall when it's had to intervene and adjust the voltage. Basically, brownout protection.

Anyhow, if anyone really needs a pure sine wave UPS, that's the least expensive line I've found. Of course the smaller models are cheaper, but the largest model is on sale today.

Link is broken. Thats is an excellent price though for a 1500VA Pure sine unit

If pure it would say inverter. Specs has alternator, pure is DC generator.

sold out

The deal goes live at 4pm ET. I think I'll get another.
Okay, I broke down and got it. Came yesterday. The new unit now reports it can run 60 minutes on my highest power setting. My old 1000VA unit only reported about 30 minutes. The specs seem to indicate that the larger 1500VA unit has only 50% more capacity than my old 1000VA one, but I looked at the specs and it has 2 batteries, 8.5Ah, where the old one had only one 9Ah, so I figured it might give me double the runtime, and it seems to have been the case.

That generator is no different than any other home use generator. I would prefer a standard Honda, Generac, Yamaha unit over that one anyday. My current generators voltage fluctuates less than 2.0%....
