A few years ago I found myself with a 5-6 year supply of wood and took a break. At that time we purchased our summer camp and my time was spent fixing it up. This winter I tuned up my log splitter and chainsaw as I am down to 3 years.

On my way home today the college was having an oak trimmed. I asked what the plan for the wood was and they said it was mine for the taking at the end of their day. Super easy as it was .5 miles from my house! I was also pleasantly suprised they cut then into rounds!

I am back in the game!

I almost drove my tractor down to load it, but figured I should do some work.
 
Nice easy scrounge. Looks like some awesome wood in 3 years.
