Just to clear things up Ray has had 3 versions of the older model, and still does not have the new style stove. All my testing is for the older style stove.

Hi this morning the readings are between 0.28 and 0.3. When I disconnect the tube from the gauge and try to reconnect it to the stove, my stove gives me an error "P" and shuts down completly!

Yes , that is the way its supposed to work, keep it connected and reset the stove by pressing the reset button. Your readings a a bit low but should not be causing really any problems as your seeing. I have no neg air pressure in my room, this is what you should be checking next, with the window readings.

Take the gauge out of the stove for now , connect it as it was factory. Take the gauge near the window stick the hose through the window. Connect it to the "-" connection leave the + open check the reading. Tape up the gap in the window. Check the readings in the room, stove not running and running.

Ok I've got -0.03 with stove on or off, untaped the window and no real changes. Brought the gauge close to window and read about zero.
When I did the test I had about 9' of tubing from the window to the floor close the the stove

Ok, does not seem too bad, next step connect the "-" port to the stove and the + port to the hose out the window, be interesting to see what that shows. Question when did this heavy smoke from the hopper start?

I had a little bit of smoke since the begining of the season, but for the heavy smoke I would say about 3 times in the last 6 weeks
I'will have to go the hardware store again, I broke my "T". One I have a chance today, I will and ket you know of the results!

When you look inside do you see any flames going up the auger? The flame should be pointed forward near the door.

I wonder if the exhaust blower has an intermittent problem, he needs to watch his gauge and when he see's smoke, if its dropping pressure. Also by referencing the one side of the gauge to outside air this will give the net suction pressure.

Ray I cleaned by exhaust blower tonight and flue, and now I'm pulling .34-.35 on a cold stove. How are your tests going?

SO he COULD run his stove on HIGH while having the blower on any lower speed per the manual posted on the stove's website? No wonder he's warped three stoves!

@rjnnamtiw. No, I never did run my stove at high eith blower @low. Even if I would have, if this setting is available at the switch on the side of the stove, The stove shouldbe able to withstand the heat for safety purposes!!!!!

Hyfire! Had a hell of a week!! Ok I am doing the test right now. At cold I have 0.52, now waiting for it to heat up

Are you sure the combustion blower is working you should not have that high of a reading, not that it would be bad thing, but seems abnormal. make sure its working....watch for smoke today. How is your burn pot gasket?
