Adams has cleanfire hardwoods and tractor supply has pro pellets.
Lucky NY!! I tried the Pro Pellets...was VERY impressed!! They are a nice clean burning pellet, minimal ash and nice heat!! Went back for more and they were all gone.

Hey Jason, thanks for posting. I was able to pick up 6 bags on Friday. I have a few bags of North American still left but I was getting tired of having to clean my stove so often. Going back to Pacific Clean fire is a real treat. I was away all weekend and my wife was able to keep the house warm this weekend with only two bags of Pacific Clean Fire. :) I guess I will save the rest of the good stuff and go back to the dirty North American pellets to get rid of them before it gets warm.

Thanks again.

No problem, did they have a bunch left?

On Friday Adams had about 40 bags left.

The cleanfires I got from adams are ultra clean and ultra cold. My air temp n is 150 as opposed to 220 the lowest ive ever seen it. Id love to burn these exclusively but id freeze in the cold of jan and feb

Interesting. What are you comparing the cleanfires to?

Everything. From green supreme north american to you better brands somerset and lignetics

My personal experience is the heat from cleanfire pellets is comparable to green supreme and north american. This is based on temp outside and how long a bag of pellets last. I have not measured the actual heat temp. output from the stove. Given my size house and heating requirements, my stove will adequately heat the upstairs no matter what the temp is outside. Basically for me it all depends on how long a bag of pellets lasts.

Mine adequately heats as well but with in extreme temps these pellets would have the gas heat cycling to keep the back of the house 74 as with other pellets can do it on there own.
