I picked up 8 bags of pure fire when I was at tractor supply last week and burned two bags so far
Tonight I topped off the hopper with a bag and poured the rest into the overflow can and a long pellet stood out. I started sifting around with my hand and found more around 2 inches long
In the pic the left side are the fireside that I burn and the right are the pure fire. I am not sure when they will get to the auger but I am sure I will hear the crunch if there are any more

have a P61A and just about done with ton of O'Malley's....I don't think there are longer pellets in a bag than O'Malley's..Have a lot that size..
yep.. look just like the pix u posted.....once in a while I hear a little crunch.... sometimes it's not the auger but the Slide plate [where they drop at bottom of hopper] that a few pellets kinda get jammed in.OR DECAPITATED.!!!
I'm sure your Harman is up to the Task at hand...

The Currans I burn in the P61a are the same - lots of really long pellets. I think that is one of the reasons that the Hastings did not like the Currans at all. the Harmon does groan about it every once in a while, but I haven't had any issues caused by it.

Yes they are sometimes long . I'm on my 2nd ton of Pure Fire pellets..
