ussc 6220 main fuse keeps blowing

You have a short to ground somewhere. I'd take a hard look at the harness where it connects to the vacuum switch and snap discs. I bet you pinched it (insulation isn't all that thick) or it got rubbed bare.

Sure am. It's a basically troublefree (so long as it's kept clean) cooker. I forgot about a shorted ignitor. I've never had a stove with an ignotor.....
Actually mine is a 39 with a 41 Four button board, auxillary draft slides (41 slides) and the latest firmware available. It's not pretty but it's reliable and a hot dog....
Nice thing (and a little known fact) about USSC boards of the 4 buttom variety is there is a communications port on the board so you can update firmware via a computer link.
If I wanted a pretty face, I'd have bought a Harman but I'm too cheap.

Ha! I think the 6041 is the newer model, right? Mine doesn't have an igniter. If by 4 button board you mean heat range, room fan dr fan & aux, mine is a 4 button board. I looked at Harman two weeks ago. $6200.00. I love the no agitator, but I don't want to pay that much money. I like ussc & their support. They merged & now have breckwell & vogalstandt (sp).
No, no igniter. Just a handful of pellets in the burn pot, fire gel & a lighter.

I don't know when USSC upgraded to igniters, I've never had one either and candidly, don't want one, so my original comments about looking at the wiring to the snap discs and vacuum switch is revelant. I had to re-route my wiring and add some zip ties.
A bottle of gel or hand sanitizer last me all season.
I've always been happy with USSC's service and we do have Owen here as well. He was on IBC too.I'm not fond of their online parts pricing on their website but no OEM's parts are cheap. At least 95% of the parts can be sourced from other, less expensive sources.
I can't bring myself to pay 6500 clams for a Harman. One, I'm retired and two, I can spend that money on something that makes me money, like farm tools.
