Is it ok to lube twist lock vent pipe? If so what lube is recommended? My clean out tee gets very difficult to open.

I would use anti-seize.

Locktite makes an antiseize with a brush in can. Works very well for a lot of things in a stove with its high heat and almost no flow. Graphite based. Hinges, screws, bolts all good places to use. Smaller tubes can be had too. I don't install a spark plug or glow plug without a dab. A automotive supply will have and if they don't they are not much of a supply house.

I leave mine just pushed in without twisting it shut. But I have a "cement hearth" directly under mine. I do use anti seize but found it much better to just push it in rather than twisting it locked. If you have a tight fit anti seize will make it a bit tighter and you should be able to just push it in and of course pull it out. Much easier and in 3 years mine has never fallen out.
