my piles would consist or 70% stringy bark, 20% black wood and the remainder is a mix of pine, oak and small amounts of other stuff i picked up here and there..

You lucky dog! The burn season is just about over for most of us here in the USA. We had a cold weekend here in western NC dipping down below freezing, so I got to build a few more good fires, but the fire building days are waning fast. Then it's pretty much cold turkey on burning for the next half year or so. Keep the fire stoked and put your feet up and enjoy your good fortune!
