At least it's not red krytonite. Krypton.jpg

Maybe it bits from a Emerald ash bore.

Looks a bit similar to what I found in my Easy Heat pellets - junk pellets, IMO.

What brand is that ?!!!

HD offbrand. Don't want to name the manufacturer for this one issue. It's source problem. Far worse, I've found auger-stopping bushings, bolts, piece of conveyer belt etc. over the years. Some of the stuff in much higher-priced pellets.

Some plastics burn hot! That explains your btu's.

Polyethylene can burn very clean and is made from NG. Tried a mix in the WP1. Was hard to keep it from sticking on the end of the drop tube.

It's not made from NG.

So what is it made from? Poly want a cracker material?
Pull up a chair, Flip. :)
It's made from ethylene that is then exposed to catalysts and it polymerizes into chains of varying lengths depending on if it's low density, high density or high molecular weight high density polyethylene. I worked with all of them during my 31 years of toil.

must be a Cadbury pellet....bok bok

I really dislike the Easter season. Everywhere I go, those Cadbury choicolate eggs are looking me in the face and I have a weakness for them.... Between them and the marshmallow eggs, I'm doomed.

Then spend Easter with your peeps:) I'm here all week!

My second weakness... Just Born Peeps. Have a fuzzy fabric one hanging from my car mirror and a whole bevy of them above the door frame over my head.....sigh.
