I've never put the fire out........

jeeez......
not fun to be you....
As I said, anytime you get tired of winter, think of me :)

On another note; there's a lot of hypocrites on these forums...everyone talking about the love of wood/pellet heat...yet EVERYONE has spring/summer before me and keep wishing it would arrive even sooner ;)

Ha ha. If you guys think you have it bad...think of me (pic was taken 15 minutes ago...4 inches on the ground + everything we have left to melt):
haha, we only got two inches, I wondered where the rest of it went. Looks like you had us beat all winter, an hour away from Quebec. Talked to the son today he's down state NY and has spring flowers blooming.

Interesting synopsis. I don't 'love' any aspect about pellet/corn heat, I do it because I'm cheap. Show me a cheaper way and I'll toss the stove to the curb in a second.

It landed here...alllll here. I am 10 hours from Montreal. On the tip of a Peninsula that is north of New Brunswick. We tend to get ALL the Nor Easters....

That's ok. Since I am only paying First 30 kWh/day 5.68¢/kWh and then 8.60¢/kWh thereafter :))), I can take the 2.9% hit. Especially since this latest rate increase is to support wind energy and my town is the largest windmill blade manufacturer around (http://www.lmwindpower.com)

But yes, my burn days are numbered. I figure another 20-30 days.

In the past 5 years, no hunting involved.

Wait for the TSC flyer to arrive with the pre-buy price per ton, go put a deposit 0n 5 tons, pickop and pay for on October, load in barn, all is good. This year it will be 3 maximum tons and corn to suit.
Sounds good and all but TSC isn't known to sell the best pellets around.. ranks with Walmart on the pellet scale..
gottenbetter pellets at HD some times...

Here...low of -7f, high of 38f, average of "still GD cold". Now more snow, at least that means it'll stay warm tonight:)
