Feeling the Heat

Down to my last 10 bags of pellets. We are supposed to be a bit chilly here in Boston mid week, after that the weather looks consistently in the 40s and 50s during the day. Thinking of not buying anymore bags and using oil for a week or two. I get about 24hrs from a bag and if running the stove intermittently I can get almost 2 days out of a bag. I should be good until mid April and I am planning on buying next year's supply in may. How is your supply. Happy easter

down to last 60 bags.....
hate burning blazers right now at shoulder season but gotta burn them or Energex Goldens...

90 bought an extra 65 in season so id be running low if all i got was 6 ton initial buy.

I am up to 28 bags ::P
Bought 4 more yesterday at HD

2.

All set... Started with just al little over 4 ton, have 85 bags left. Burning wood weekends and using a bit of oil. Little use of pellet for the time being.

252 bags used, 18 bags left.

I have about 15 left. Since we usually burn until mid June here in the pacific Northwest I know I'll be buying some more. I'm hoping for a spring sale before I'm forced to go buy some.

22 bags left.

Using about half a bag a day now. Should make it. But burning the good Somersets.

Running mostly at night and early morning. On sunny days over 50, stove not needed.

I have 33 bags left out of 3 tons and 13 bags. So I'll make it easy.

16 bags left out of 4 1/2 ton. No worries here.

9 bags remaining. Likely won't need them until the fall.

Picked up 6 bags yesterday which puts me back at around a ton. I get nervous if I get lower than that. Still have 20 bags of pre-pay at the local dealer to pick up, whenever he gets another delivery (hasn't had any in several weeks)

I've used 6 1/2 tons as of now and pretty much so finished except for and occasional chilly evening or morning. I will have at least a ton left all said and done. Could have likely gotten by on 6 tons total but we have kept the house extremely warm IMO which obviously doesn't count.

The wife likes it 75 or so inside. YIPPIE! She called Monday evening saying she was chilled so I asked what the thermostat was reading and she said 70. You have to be kidding me! Chilled at 70. I have created a heat soaking monster. And just a reminder she was pissed when I "drug home another heating thingy." She likes the damn thing better than me now...... Go figure and I'll keep cracking the wallet open for pellets.

Maybe I'll do wood again next year so she has a friendly reminder. Then I'll crank the stat down to a reasonable temp.

2 tons. Burned 4. I'm still using about a bag/day to keep the house at 68ish, but that should end soon.

0 - last bag is burning now.

65 bags left. There's a fresh coating of snow on the ground and the salt truck just went by. It's supposed to reach the mid-60's next week.

Started with 250 down to my last 12.
