Just purchased 20 bags of Pro Pellet brand pellets from TSC and the some of the bags had warm spots. The clerk also mentioned they were "unusually" warm.. Even after sitting in the back of my truck for 45 minutes, with 32 degrees outside... Are they "cooking" in the bag?

get any warmer l\just open the bag in the house and leave it there without burning..

Put them in the back of my Tahoe plow truck. Will check on them later. No smoke as yet..

Have you burned any of them yet? If so, what's your take on them? :) I was upset that I only got 5 bags but it was a new pellet to me...turned out to be one of the best I've tried in 5 years. TSC got some other energy fiber something or other this last time...didn't even bother to read all of the bag as was not happy after calling and told they had Pro Pellet to get there and find they didn't.

No. Have not burned any yet, will post when I do..

Burned overnight, temp outside 32 degrees, so not real cold. Heat output seems good. Ash build up seems reasonable. Pellets length is good, nothing real long, fines in bag about the norm. Auger making periodic "crunching" sounds, but I have the feed real low. I'd buy again.

I thought they where middle of the road. Good heat. Good length. Bit more ash then my lignetics. Also left glass dirty quicker then usual. Id buy again over most pellets out there

Further burning of these pellets: The glass gets dirty faster, heat output is definitely more than the Pure Fires I was burning, and since my stove is manual start these start super easy & quick..
