Hi, I want to get a dump cart to move my firewood and other suitable things around my 3,5 acres property. Can't decide if 18cu ft or 12 cu ft is a match for me. I have JD 425 ez track zero turn, I know it's not ideal , but can't spend money on ATV right now. Dump carts at HD and Lowes are packed in boxes, so can't really compare the size of these carts. Is there a real difference between 12 and 18 cu ft dump cart? What is your preferences ? Thank you.

I think maybe you should measure the flat part of the tub. I can fit two 16" pieces, plus a little, in mine. It stacks very nicely in it.

The thing with those small dump carts, you may find that they're not as roomy as you'd prefer. I had one my first year. It was a nice cart, fine for hauling leaves and fill dirt but it was too small for use with firewood.

Found this Ohio Steel heavy duty dumper the following year and never looked back. It holds twice as much, makes for fewer trips to the woods and back. :)

I also like that my cart has a handle on it to use it as a wheelbarrow; I use that a lot.

I just got a Gorilla Cart from Amazon a few weeks ago. I don't hook it up to an ATV, though it does have that option. It's got 4 wheels so it stands up on its own unlike most of the other dump carts I see. It's got a release lever you pull on the front to allow it to dump while keeping all 4 wheels on the ground.

Look for something used. Get it less than half list. Then get another. You can't have too many trailers.
