Still burning

I was shut down for almost 2 weeks but fired it back up yesterday and it looks like it will be running for at least the next week.

My stove still runs at night too but my pellet consumption has dropped to about 1 bag every 4 - 5 days.

Shut off the main floor stove before leaving for work yesterday but was sorry. Left it on today (thermostat controlled). Downstairs stove still running on a regular basis.

Same story here in Oregon, down for a week and back on at a bag every 4 days.

And we thought winter was over. Snow here in VT today as well.

Ah ! So I am not alone then !

Running the stove at night here for now.

I was happy to burn only run 1 bag last week but this week its been more now the cold front today and the stove will be on all night set to 70

Still burning here close to a bag a day...just starting to see a little grass out there after 16 ft of snow this winter!!

Only 1 bag? That is good. I am sure I went thru more than that. Probably 1.5-2 bags in the main floor stove (I know I went a couple of days between filling the hopper) and 3-4 bags in the basement stove.

Still running most days and nights, I have about 4 ft snow still on my lawn.

All total, I think we got 9-10 feet most of which fell in February.

Going to start mine back up again this evening, certain my wife will insist on it.

Probably 5LB in the hopper, going to add a scoopful or two at a time to see if I can end up the burning season with an empty hopper.

I took that month out of my memory. I think we had more miles on our snow blowers than our cars that month

Remember the beginning of last week we had a lot of sun and warm well hi 50`s and 60`s felt warm.
we also get a lot of morning and mid day sun through the slider that shuts the stove down for hours into the night
But that's only when its warm out. in the winter the slider is just a big air leak

I was digging the sun and I turned the main floor stove off before leaving for work and turn it on in the evening - it would start up about 9 PM (thermostat would call for heat) and then cycle as needed. Haven't shut off the downstairs stove at all (runs in room temp mode) since it abuts the garage and the foundation is a heat sink anyway.

Still running here too. [emoji15]

I'm still burning right now. mainly when the sun goes down. It was cold today....

Thursday and Friday it was downright cold working outside here in Newburgh. Stove is in on/off on thermostat and has been coming on quite a bit. I'm going to miss not burning when the time finally gets here though. This isn't a shot at wood burners by no means, but I bet they are pretty sick of lugging wood in the house at this point in time and I'm glad I chose a pellet stove.

Still running nights and some days glad I had plenty of pellets this year ! Wife has also stopped complaining that i bought to many ...Priceless!

Ran the stove 24x7 the last few days, except shutdown for cleaning. I think 1 of those days I shut it down to clean for a few hours in the evening when it was 50's out. Yesterday we were in the 20's in the AM, and without any other heat in my house that just about pegs my stove at max. Ran it at 7 overnight (out of 9). So probably a bag and a half per day still for me.
