Question, Flame Doesn't "Look Right" on my Stove

So about 1-2 months ago I got a Hampton GC60 installed and have burned through 10 bags or so of pellets, about 3 basic cleanings. I've been wondering about my flame, it looks like a lot is outside the fire grate. Is it me, or does this seem, "not right"? If it isn't right, what would cause this?

Looks to me like the air holes in the burn pot are clogged up. Try taking the pot out and soaking it in a bucket of warm water for an hour or so and then taking a putty knife and removing the carbon buildup and a small (sized to fit the holes) drill bit and cleanin them out.....

Perfectly normal. You have a huge burn pot in that stove and pellets tend to bounce to the outer edges of the pot and burn there. You will find that after burning a few bags and the ash is pushed to the outer edges of the pot that your flame will be more upright and contained to the poti would be very surprised if the holes are cloged up after burning only 10 bags

Okay, that makes sense, the burn pot does extend out quite a bit on each side. Thanks!

Sounds and looks ok to me as well. One thing though, is the air damper adjusted properly?? If open too much, too much air flow through will tend to flatten flames as well in the middle of the burnpot. I'd check the M55 burn videos on youtube (Your stove's sister, both are Sherwood Ind stoves) for comparison. It seems pretty normal though. Good luck with her.
