image.jpg These are about 3 cord rows. The back is all 1 year white oak and hickory and the front is 2 year oak and cherry/ash/red maple/poplar cut this year. Gonna try to get the 3rd year cut plus a little more maple/poplar for insurance before our hot summer gets here but it's already heatin up down here!

Lookin' good! 3 cords a year? That seems like a lot for down there...are you heating a lot of space?

Sounds better than if I were to say it.:p

Good job on the gathering. It is hard work to get ahead but after that the maintenance part of replacing what is used doesn't seem so bad.

Actually man it's not enough space for us (around 1200) but its paid for :)

It's 100 years old and pretty much uninsulated plus I have a very cold natured wife. I've got a half cord in the shed from last year so I'm going with 3 for now. It ain't like it'll be wasted

You can say it here haha! Yea I am blessed to have a lot of good wood to pick from. One reason for the white oak leaves is because I have a yard full of them and I hate raking leaves.==c

There was 4 more big post oak that were 30-45 inches I had cut down before I started burning wood. Gave most of It away at the time. Wish I had it now! I had to get some grass growing though. I had a totally shaded yard all day
