Thanks for the info.... I tried everything....it's still not running correctly. Lots of pellet buildup not burning. Finally this morning it stopped feeding pellets.....I shut it down but can't see through the glass (blackened)...it's still too hot to open. I'm at a total loss.....and don't know what to do with it. I just don't understand how replacing an auger motor could mess everything else up.....as it was running fine before replacement.

Please tell us a few things before everyone keeps going back and forth.

To me it looks like we have a air problem.
IE your vacuum switch tripping and now the stove burns like crap.

That could be from Blocked exhast or bad blower
Or A leak on the firebox side of the stove.

Has the Venting been cleaned? NO JUST LOOKED AT BUT RAN A BRUSH

Has the combustion blower been PULLED out of the stove and cleaned?
PULLED OUT OF THE STOVE and inspect the blower and the exhaust chamber that is behind where the blower mounts

Is your door sealing?

Is your Ash pan sealing?

You cant tell if you have a blockage unless the stove is taken apart

Our record is 27 small birds out of one stove

Michelle - I agree with Rod, based on my own experience with air flow problems. Either your intake our your exhaust or both are clogged up with something, or at the minimum "obstructed".

When my exhaust was clogged up, my fire barely burned, and the glass was so black form smoke, I needed a brillo pad to get the soot off of it.

If you're sure that the vacuum swithc is good, air flow is the most likely cause to your problem.

If you auger motor is a 120v motor, I would think you could make up a test cord and just plug it into a wall outlet and see if it spins.

She got the auger to work after she jumped the flow switch
so it is a vacuum problem
A bad Flow switch is NOT going to make the soot up.
ONLY NO AIR FLOW.

Sorry about not getting back sooner....had to be out of town for the day. I do want to thank everyone for their input. It is sooooooooo appreciated!!!!!
The stove was running fine right up until I changed the auger motor....the auger now works...but not until I tripped the circulator switch. Which in turn leads me to believe that the original auger motor may not have been bad at all...I am going to switch it back tomorrow morning...just to check. I did take off the exhaust fan and cleaned it as well as the exhaust housing....(used a brush and vacuum)...also removed the plates on the sides of the stove and cleaned inside those.
Since this blackened fire thing......when I opened the stove I did see that the gasket around the door has blackened. but even before that happened the fire was not right. The only thing that I can think of doing is to take the exhaust fan off and hotwire it....not sure if that is even a possibility?....or can you tell if it works when you light the stove? Will you hear it or see it running? I really haven't spent much time on that side of the stove.
But what has me totally baffled is how did all of this happen by just changing an auger motor?? I don't see how it effectd the air flow all of a sudden?
