I read an ad in todays paper of some dealer selling Bio Bricks , 1000 for $ 150.00 . Do you need a Bio Brick stove to burn these or will any wood stove do ? Also how big are they ? And how many would you have to buy to heat your house for a burn season ? How fast do they burn ?

That's a decent deal on BioBricks. I know the local shops around me sell them for $5-$7 for a package of 20. Not sure what the cost works out to be if you buy a pallet of them.

And you can burn them in a regular wood stove or an open fireplace or an outside firepit... its just compressed sawdust. As far as I know I've never heard of a stove made specifically for them.

Also they are about the size of two normal red bricks... maybe 10"x4" or something like that...

yes tell us where the bricks are!!!!

Great deal. I would think that most woodstoves should be able to burn them. That doesn't include pellet stoves :p . They are a little shorter than a regular brick. Their burn rate depends on how the stove is loaded. They work best by creating a mass of them that the fire has to work down and through.
