Can anyone help me find a Harman part? I need a Potentiometer 100K (Pot Switch) for my 3 year old Harman P43. It doesn't make sense to change the whole control board for $165. when a switch is under 2 bucks.
I have done an exhaustive internet search as well as the following ALL with negative results:

Of course checked E-Bay and Amazon...negative results.
Contacted one seller on E-Bay that sold different Harman pots....no reply.
Wrote a letter to Harman Stoves...no reply.
Contacted a Harman Dealer...cant help me....but would send out a tech.
Wrote a letter to ACP Technologies (in Spain) they manufacture the switch for Harman...no reply.
Wrote letters to 3 different Pot switch companies...no replies.

Is there anyone out there in Pellet World that can help me?

Im attaching pics of the part.

Thanks for reading my plea!View attachment 159610 20150712_175631.jpg 20150712_175631.jpgView attachment 159610 20150712_175631.jpgView attachment 159610 20150712_175631.jpg20150712_175651.jpg

Did you try a search on here, I know several people have rebuilt their boards. Radio Shack maybe??

Try digi-key.com they sell components such as that...

Yes, ironpony I did. Any links I found are no longer good.
My past experience with Radio Shack isn't positive...usually dopey kids working there but I will give them a shot.

Thank you mpilihp....I just sent them an email with photos. I will keep my fingers crossed.

You may try going to the Harman dealer if you did not. They may have a scrapped board laying around that they may be willing to sell you in person.

I was just searching fleabay and" Harman pellet stove " yielded the pots, 3 for $11, extended life.
Also offering replacement of the pots for $40

Thanks Bioburner, I saw that ad....those pots are for the P61 and are 50K....and the prong configuration is wrong.
The 3 for $11. is for a coal stove and look completely different than what I have and I don't know if they will fit. The K value is correct though.
I have sent that seller 2 emails asking for more info but have yet to receive a reply.

The ebay post for the P61 is 100k, just looked to make sure. The p38 takes 50k
Heres a picture of one I got from them before they started offering a extended life.

Can try "Brunner's bits and pieces"

Thank you Bioburner.... The 3 for sale on Ebay look completely different then the blue square pots that we both have. And it says for Harman "Coal" stoves. I have no clue if there is a difference.
but in the description it states.... "These are the potentiometers found on Harman control boards that tend to go bad." and "Unlike the originals these are extended life pots" and looking closely at the pictures it looks as though they will physically fit and the K value is correct. The only other difference I see is on the control board they show with these installed, one pot is clearly smaller in size.
I am going to roll the dice and order them and see what I get. I'll take the gamble for $11.00 I sent the seller another message with no response. The same seller also repairs boards too, so I guess its a conflict of interest for him.

Thanks again Mr. Bio I really appreciate your time and help.

**On another note....I went to Radio Shack today on a pot search....it amazes me that they are still in business.

Brunner"s Bits and pieces, is also the poster on Ebay. I have bought from them and repaired three boards. Good luck

I have tried to order from Brunners. They charged my card through Paypal but I never received any parts. I am currently addressing this through Paypal and still have not received any word from Brunners. Does anyone know of an alternative vendor for these trimpots? Ebay doesn't seem to have them any more.
