Not sure why you think that Dan?

Perhaps I was not clear enough.
I meant those thinking they will be at the price of last year will not see that again...
You may very well see them at HD again. I certainly do not know what they will
or will not get.
But I seriously doubt you will see them for the same price as Green Supremes...........
If you do let us know!

.....Don't get me worried now dan haha I hope these blazers burn hot in my stove already committed to three ton. Tell McManus to expand his buisness and sell in northern mass...
I'm sure you will like your Blazers... good product.... test data very similar for Blazer/ La Crete..

As for McManus expanding to Mass.. not gonna happen!
It's a 1.2 man operation. Me being the .2 part!!
This is not an easy business, contrary to what many think!
and both of us are well past 60...
(Me, well past!);em

I'm going to disagree on that one, but only time will tell :) Every prior year they have always sold Blazers at the same price point as the "run of the mill" pellets. In fact, last year, they pulled a "Lowes" and introduced the notion of a "higher tier" pellet sold at a higher price. Blazers were not in that category. Nope, on their website the "better" pellets were listed as Fireside Platinums and they were $20/ton more than the rest of the stuff they sold. As far as I know, that product never materialized - at least not around here. The only product that ever showed up at HDs here and sold for the "higher" price was the AWF WPs. Looking at their website now, they are listing Nation's Choice as another "higher tier" pellet as well...OK, really??? Wow, anyway, I suspect when Blazers hit the shelves this year, they will still be the same price as the run of the mill pellets - just as they always have.

For those that want Blazers... I hope you are right...!!
I love a good deal as much as the next guy..
It's only my gut that tells me uh_uh..
Please keep us up to speed on this..

I bought 3 tons of Blazers back in April to fill my stash back up to 6 tons. I still have 3 tons of Okie DF left over from last year.

Gotta disagree with you, awf white pine showed up around here last year at regular price. Have never seen blazers at all around here before, never mind at home depot

When have Blazer's ever been sold in CT?

That's great! I watched prices and selection at the HD stores around me last season, and this is what I saw. Season started with one price $5/bag. Around the second week of October, they increased the price to $5.19 and near the same time added the "higher tier" of pellet at $5.58. Those prices remained in effect all season, right up until the end of April when the prices jumped up to $5.79 and $6.29 where they remain now. Throughout the winter, I checked several HDs at pretty regular intervals and all that time, the only pellets that ever showed up around here that sold for the higher price of were the AWF WPs. If your HD sold them at the lower price and you bought (and liked) them, then you got a good deal.
