Thanks claydogg. On the new job, looking at wood the clearing guys cut. It's a good morning for me and my boss who is also a wood burner

He needs wood he has none so we are looking at what we can get him for this year. Some dead stuff here too which is good for him

Yeah, the live Elm won't be dry for this winter but dead stuff may have a chance. If he's got an old smoke-blower stove, he might get some heat outta the dead stuff even if it's not completely dry. You preachin' to him the gospel of the 3-yr. plan, and keeping the chimney clean? ==c

Yes sir I am. He is a seasoned wood burner but there's some wood here he hasn't seen, living in Northampton County. I pointed out some hackberry to him, he didn't know what that was. I even suggested he come over here and hang out with the cool guys and gals. I think he has a Woodstock soapstone stove and also a big boiler stove in his basement for the low low temps Normally he is ahead of the game but the Turnpike job took up all his free time, plus his dad passed and he was taking care of all that. Burning 8 cord a year it might take him a few minutes to get 24 cord put up ;)
