Blazers repackaged?

No o was researching blazer dealers and came across one I think in shrewsbury that had both blazer and these. Where in taunton are they selling them are they at a good price.

I thought it was Taunton but it is Rehoboth. Quarry Brothers.
I saw their truck in my neihborhood the other day making a delivery and looked to see what they were selling.
They are $355/ton.

100% on the BTUtiful "Douglas Fir".
Unknown on Blazers. They say "Predominantly" DF"...
That could mean whatever you want it to mean.
I know what it means to me.
But that's not to say for a second that they are not good.....
It's a very good premium pellet.

That's actually the company I was trying to reference I actually got Blazers for $299 per ton at pre buy which I am pumped about given the prices now (lowest I've seen in mass since June is 319 pellets direct). I bought mine from pellets r us in acton now they have them listed at 339. My 3 ton will be here next week!

Yeah... It does.
So do nearly all premium pellets.
Blazers, La Crete, LG, Okie, etc. all 100% wood.
That means, the product contains only wood.
And no fillers, trash, binders, or additives, like some of the junk out there.
Their Doug Firs, are Doug firs. 100% wood.
Their premium softwood, is also 100% wood. species vary.
Just like our Olympus. 100% Doug fir... 100% wood.

Which is why most brands say "softwood", or "blend" or "premium" or whatever..
Blazers, a great product, does NOT say Douglas Fir..............
They say "incorporated"... other species are scrutinized carefully.
Interpret it as you wish.
I know the brands we sell, that SAY DF on the bag... are DF, and 100% wood.

I stopped by the place the other day. They are blazer pellets that are bulk shipped to MA and re-bagged as Btuiful. Claim that they have had problems with blazer bag surviving the trip from the west coast. Not quite sure why that requires a $10 per ton up charge over blazers. Shouldn't shipping be cheaper when shipping in bulk vice bagged and stacked tons? Maybe I don't know enough about the cost of unloading the bulk pellets, re-bagging at the destination and getting them to the distributors.

Hello everyone,
I stumbled across this today and I figured I would clear up a couple of things. The BTUtiful pellet is as much Douglas Fir as possible that raw materials and manufacturing will allow. It is approaching 100% but it is always possible to have a very small percentage of other species. I would say that every Douglas Fir pellet is in the same boat. Also, Yes it cost more to rail the pellets in bulk and then package them here in New England. But there is some big advantages of doing this. Pristine Packaging is the first, we also sold Blazer but had lots of damaged pallets and loss. Less Fines is second because the pellets are re-screened before packaging. The other difference is that the bagging facility actually has a pellet mill as well and they can pelletize all the finer material that is created from shipping across the entire country.
