storage question

My 3 ton of blazers arrived today. It is supposed to drizzle tonight intermittently and also early tomorrow. I have help coming tomorrow night to lug them to the basement. They are tripple wrapped and have a plastic white hood on them. I draped a tarp over the top only one two of the ton and had a small piece of rubber roofing to put over the third. Will any moisture be able to get in. Trying to protect my ivestment. Thanks guys
 
I wouldn't worry about it. I've bought pellets from Tractor Supply for years with no problems, and they store them outside in rain, snow, and whatever. As long as they're well covered, you're okay.

Unless they are in a puddle and a deep one or the factory wrap has been damaged
The chances of water getting in are 0 to none . A lot of the big suppliers and pellet
plants store outside for months in rain ,snow , sleet and what ever Mother Nature
can dream up.

Thanks makes me feel better. I lifted up the platinum hood on one and its tripple wrapped and very secure. No damaged packing as far as I can see
 
Just a quick update I have help scheduled to come by and unload the three pallets this evening into the basement. They are saying on and off showers all day today through tuesday. Should I just have everyone hang back and do this next week. It's supposed to be just drizzling in my town. Not sure if I can get the help next week

How far do you have to go outside before being under cover ?
 
About 10 to 15 feet before the bulk head
 
I don't see a problem unless the rain is pouring down
If its not raining really enough to get you wet then you
should be good to go . But this totally up to you
It won't hurt them to sit outside all wrapped up for a few days
Or until the next time you can get help .
 
Got two in the basement before it started to rain. They are packed great going to do the last ton another day.
