That's exactly what I was afraid of. That's a good idea to put random splits and rounds in the stack.
The outfit pays a trucking Company to haul it away and I give the trucking company driver $50 cash. If he can't find anyone who wants a semi load of rr tie ends, mostly oak, already cut to length!!. He hauls it to a place to make hardwood mulch out of it.!!

Very timely I saw and posted on this thread a day ago. I just found a craigslist ad for mill scraps for a pretty good price. He says his dump trailer holds 3 cords, but who knows. Hell, even if it is 2, thats not bad for $155 delivered to my house 30 mile away.
I confirmed it is all hardwood.
