Got an email this am from Home & Hearth saying Vermont Pellet could not meet new orders. H&H said existing orders should b filled (we ordered 4 tons end of June). Having wife call & check on status of our order.

Assume Home & Hearth is your local pellet dealer? Did they provide an explanation why?
Wife was told our order is OK and will be delivered in 3-4 weeks. below is the email I got this morning:

Yesterday we sent an email out that stated we were 4-8 weeks out on Vermont Wood Pellet Deliveries. 30 minutes after we sent out that email Vermont Wood Pellet contacted us and we were told that they are not sure if they are going to be able to meet the demand for their Wood Pellet.
So unfortunately we can not except any new official orders for Vermont Wood Pellet. However, things may turn around. So what with any new order for Wood Pellets, if Vermont it really what you want, let us know, and we will add it to the Vermont Wood Pellet wish list, and if Vermont becomes available we will contact you and let you know.
Two Brands that are very close to Vermont are the Okanagan Platinum, and the La Crete Wood Pellet. Some people like the Okanagan Platinum more then Vermont, I can confidently say since we have carried the Okanagan Platinum, we have not received any bad reviews or comments on them. They are a really great Wood Pellet.
For any new order for wood pellet deliverers we are currently 2-6 weeks out on.
Hopefully things will turn around with Vermont quickly. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause, we wish more then anything to sell as much Vermont Wood Pellet as possible. We wish we had some control over this situation, but unfortunately we don't.
Any existing orders of Vermont Wood Pellets should not have any issues being filled.
