I was in Walmart in Old Saybrook this morning. They had the Fiskars X25 & X27 on clearance for $35.00 and $45.00 respectively.

Jealous as hell. I wasted 31.99 at Home Cheapo on a Rockforge splitting axe a while back. My dead relatives are better at splitting than this thing is. Good find!
 
My BJs sells them also. $39.
 
Sounds like the price is really coming down on the X27. I paid like $55 on Amazon 18 months ago.
