Hamers 945$ delivered or Allegheny 888$ delivered ? Price is for 3 tons.

Burned some Hamers a couple of years ago and they were pretty good,

I was all ready to get Allegeny's this year, however I guess they were bought out by New England Wood Pellets and there's no way I'd chance paying a premium price for rebagged Green Supremes. Hamer's burn hotter than the depths of hell, but in my stove make a funky ash, but well worth it for the heat.

Edit: for what it's worth, I burned 4 bags of Allegeny last year and they were great, I'm just not sure if you'll be getting the same pellets this year.

Allegheny are my second choice pellet in my area. Moderate ash and decent heat in past.

That actually was my concern...they were bought by NEWP and I cant be sure what im getting. I burned 2 tons of Allegeny last year and they weren't bad at all. only burned 10 bags of Hamer's and honestly don't remember if I liked them or not.I guess If I hated them I would remember.
