We heat totally with a combination of one, two or three pellet stoves in a 2400 ft ranch style home.
If we want a warm house the stove/s run 24/7 to do so.

Whether it's an oil furnace, natural gas, pellet stove. wood stove or ???? something that gets hot has to be doing the job of heating the house.

As mentioned, the pellet stoves are well fitted with safeties to assure safe operation.

Keep the stove clean and maintained and no worries.

I would bake @ 73-74* inside during winter!
You would melt here then. She likes it hot and I like it 68 - 70. Last year our average inside temp was 75 - 76*. Shorts and flip flop winter for me. I am going to change that this year......... I hope. I'm shooting for 72* this winter.

We ran ours 24/7 without any worries or problems. The wife had no issues with it and she will unplug the toaster when not in use as she does other kitchen appliances.

The guy I got my bigE from left for work Mon afternoon and got home Fri afternoon. With the extended Hopper the bigE would still be burning. He did this for many years.

My little Santa Fe goes all the time. It's on a thermostat so it will turn off when desired temp is reached. Its nice to know when I get back home from a day of work that the house will be nice and warm.
