Did the woodbox front door of the woodstove (cannot complain since this is the first time I've had to do it since I bought the stove back in 2007 (2008?). The ash pan door and side door gaskets were fine.
Much easier than I expected . . . for some reason I thought it would be much more challenging to get the old cement out.
In any case, I've read conflicting advice on what to do with the stove door while the cement is drying . . . after doing the first check and wiping up any excess cement (none in my case) . . . should the door be left open or shut?
