We had this stove installed last year and have been very happy with its performance thus far. I have three issues with it and would like to know what I should do.
1. My outside cast plates on the sides rattle like crazy when putting wood in or closing/ opening the door. I have tightened the screws that hold them in place but they keep coming loose. I am going to put a lock washer on and hope that helps.
2. The snapstat has not worked from day one. I can turn on the blower manually but it would be nice if this function worked.
3. The inside plates that hold the firebricks in are warped/ buckled and on one side the weld is cracked.
Are these things that should get fixed by the installer or should I contact Jotul directly? Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

1) Try Locktite blue thread-locking compound on screws.
2) Check to be sure it is pressed firmly against the stove body. If it is then it may be defective and need replacing.
3) take pics and discuss with dealer
