Last burning season I noticed the control knob for the fan was working very spotty. Loosing its variable sensitive. After a good cleaning I opened the control box and gave all the knobs and switches a good cleaning with a product called DeoxIT Fader F5. Its used religiously by the vintage stereo collectors. Got the stove in the house and fired it up and all dials are working like new. I also installed the new style single fan combustion blower that seems to be quieter then stock and seems to be working well. I guess I can take the rollerblade bearings out of the old blower and give them back to my son. Hths

Yes .Couple quick bursts on each pot. Followed the directions on can. I thought the pots were shot. Just dirty I guess.

From the inside. Remove 2 screws that hold the control box on. You will see where the knobs go through the case and to the pot. I sprayed the pot itself. Have stove unplugged. Follow directions on the can. Yes, I thought mine were going to need replacing and then I gave DeoxIT fader f5 a try. Worked for me. Do a search on any vintage hi fi forum. They swear by it.
